Friends of the Board
FRIENDS OF THE BOARD
Mission: Building bridges of learning, enrichment and education for the students of Forest Grove Public Schools.
Vision: Bringing the community together to enhance the educational experience of every student in Forest Grove Public Schools.
Purpose: The Friends of the Board shall consist of non-board members who are interested in forwarding the mission of the Foundation but may not have the time or ability to serve as a full board member.
Responsibilities include:
Being available for periodic consultation with the EFFG President, DC, or Action/Event Chairpersons. This may include periodic requests for feedback on issues, or for volunteer support on special projects or fundraisers.
Making connections for EFFG (identify and promote EFFG to potential partners).
Continue to be an advocate for EFFG in looking for potential Board Members, volunteers, donors and resources to further EFFG goals and missions.
Be an ambassador for EFFG to the community.
Attend EFFG functions whenever possible.
